ILLUMINATE Research Studies. The ILLUMINATE research studies are designed to evaluate a new investigational study medication for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the most common form of lupus. The ILLUMINATE studies are being conducted in approximately 500 sites in 44 countries around the world and 2280 individuals will be enrolled worldwide.
The purpose of this website is to provide you and your loved ones with important information about lupus, the ILLUMINATE research studies and general clinical trial participation. Frequently asked questions (FAQs) and responses about research studies have also been provided, including common reasons why an individual may decide to participate in the ILLUMINATE studies.
